Project Overview
We faced difficulties during the construction as the foundation pit is surrounded by historic preserved buildings with natural foundation and commercial building that was in operation during that time. There are 4m wide roads on both side. During construction, the anchors has to provide pull-out force in the meantime minimizing the impact on soil disturbance to avoid causing impact on the historic preserved building. After the construction, the anchors have to be recovered and removed completely. Therefore, we used prestressed ground anchor integrated with hot melt removable ground anchor technology in accordance to that situation. Eventually, we accomplished the mission to protect the foundation pit and the historic preserved buildings meanwhile dismantling the anchors and recycling it.
